What We Collect

We collect the minimum data needed for the app to work. Most of it is optional and entered by you.

What We Never Collect

• Your real name (unless you choose to enter one)
• Social Security Number or WIC card number
• Financial information or bank accounts
• Health information beyond WIC participant type
• Precise location history or movement tracking
• Contacts, photos, or files on your device
• Browsing history outside this app

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone.

Aggregate, non-identifying statistics (like "200 scans happened today") may be used internally to improve the app. These statistics can never be traced back to an individual.

Community reports (formula availability sightings) are shared anonymously with other app users — that's the whole point. Your identity is never attached to these reports.

Third-Party Services

The app does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. There are no cookies, no pixel trackers, and no data brokers involved.

The app communicates only with our own backend server hosted in the United States.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on a secured server in the United States. Household and benefit data you enter is also stored locally on your device using encrypted storage.

Communication between the app and server uses HTTPS encryption in transit.

Your Rights

• Export Your Data Download everything we have about you at any time. In the app: Settings → Privacy → Export My Data
• Delete Your Account Permanently delete your account and all associated data. This cannot be undone. In the app: Settings → Privacy → Delete My Account
• Opt Out of Notifications Disable push notifications at any time through the app or your device settings.
• Use Without an Account The barcode scanner works without entering any personal information. You can check WIC eligibility without setting up a household.

Children's Privacy

This app is designed for WIC participants, who are often parents of young children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Participant names entered by parents are stored only on their device and server account, and can be deleted at any time.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and notify users through the app. We will never change this policy to allow selling or sharing your personal data.
